Baseball – 2025

We are changing a few things for 2025.
First, we have changed our venue for this season. We will be playing our home games at Clepper Park in Union Township. We have fields on Tuesdays from 5 to 6:30 and Fridays from 6:30 to 8:00. I realize the timing is not ideal, but the conditions at our previous venue were not good.
Next, we received a lot of input last year that we went too long into the summer. As a result, we are backing off our schedule by a couple weeks. Our season starts on Tuesday, 4/15 and ends on Friday, 6/27.
Third, we are already in the process of scheduling games with other special needs teams. Doug Jones has stepped up to work on this which I appreciate very much. We will have updates as things become more firm.
We will again have 2 or 3 teams this year organized by skill level. Recall last year we started with a development team of very young players. Eventually they kind of infiltrated the JV team. This brings up concerns because even some of the JV guys could hit the ball pretty hard. Candidly, this was a problem for the varsity team as well.
We will make a final determination once we see who all registers and try to place people based on age, size, and personal safety.
